Data Loss

By signing the declaration at the beginning of the visit, you agree to allow Devon PC Repair to diagnose and repair/replace your hardware and software. Devon PC Repair may not be able to recover your data and you should make sure you have backed up your data before the callout. The No Fix No Fee guarentee does not apply to data recovery. Devon PC Repair will attempt to recover your data should it be required and has tools to do so but there is no guarentee that it will be recoverable.

No Fix No Fee

The policy is simple. If i cant fix it, you dont pay a penny. If i can fix it and you decide to not go ahead with the repair then you still pay any charges currently incurred. E.g. you call Devon PC Repair and arrange a callout. I visit the site and within the first hour diagnose a failed hard drive which needs replacing. At this point you can either give the go ahead for the repair OR you may decide for whatever reason not to proceed with the repair(you may want to attempt the repair yourself) and you'll be charged a £10 callout fee and £20 for the hours work.

Declaration

Before a callout can begin all customers are asked to sign a declaration stating that the customer has allowed the engineer to diagnose and repair your hardware. Should any dataloss occour(e.g. from reinstalling your hardwares software) this is beyond the control of the engineer and they, nor Devon PC Repair are liable. Furthermore this declaration is valid for up to 1 month from the first visit.
